Poseban oprez potreban je kod vitamina topivih u mastima jer se talo\u017ee u organizmu, postaju toksi\u010dni i izazivaju predoziranje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vitamini su organski spojevi koje nalazimo u hrani u vrlo malim koli\u010dinama, ali neophodnima za \u017eivot. Prema kemijskim svojstvima, dijelimo ih u dvije osnovne skupine \u2013 one topive u vodi i topive u mastima. Kod vitamina topivih u mastima mo\u017eemo razmatrati utjecaj na rad jetre, odnosno o\u0161te\u0107enje jetre, s obzirom na to da se oni akumuliraju, odnosno mjesta pohrane tih vitamina jesu upravo masno tkivo i jetra, naglasila je Zrinka \u0160mulji\u0107 iz Slu\u017ebe za prehranu i dijetetiku KBC-a Zagreb.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sintetski beta-karoten<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Potencijalna opasnost krije se i prilikom uzimanja dodatne koli\u010dine beta-karotena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Karotenoidi su vrlo specifi\u010dni. Oni su jaki antioksidansi. Zna\u010di dijelimo ih na karotene i ksantofile. Poznati karoteni su, uz alfa i beta karoten, i likopen koji je jak antioksidans. Znamo da nas antioksidansi \u0161tite od slobodnih radikala. Ali ono \u0161to moramo znati da sintetski beta karoten koji se uzima samoinicijativno kod trenutnih pu\u0161a\u010da mo\u017ee jo\u0161 pove\u0107ati karcinogenezu. Tako da nikako nije preporuka uzimanje sintetskog beta karotena kod trenutnih pu\u0161a\u010da, ka\u017ee Pavi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samovoljnim kori\u0161tenjem dodataka prehrani sami sebi \u010dinimo medvje\u0111u uslugu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Kad govorimo o uzimanju dodataka prehrani, zaista je jako bitno da \u010dovjek najprije utvrdi postoji li zapravo manjak u njegovom organizmu. Dakle da laboratorijskim pretragama utvrdi koje su razine vitamina D, vitamina B12, vitamina A, vitamina E ili odre\u0111enih mineralnih tvari, pa se onda na temelju tog nalaza uvede suplementacija. Tako da \u0107e suplementacija vitaminom D definitivno i\u0107i po preporuci lije\u010dnika. Zaista smo suo\u010deni s brojnim proizvodima na tr\u017ei\u0161tu koji se promoviraju. Naravno, ne mora zna\u010diti da su oni lo\u0161i, samo je pitanje za koga su dobri i jesu li ba\u0161 svima potrebni, obja\u0161njava \u0160mulji\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kako ne bismo pogrije\u0161ili, unos vitamina treba prilagoditi fiziolo\u0161kim potrebama i stupnju tjelesne aktivnosti.
