Dvije su primarne vrste vitamina K: vitamin K1 i vitamin K2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nutricionistica Erica Julson je objasnila da \u201cvitamin K1 igra va\u017enu ulogu u zgru\u0161avanju krvi, dok je K2 va\u017eniji za zdravlje kostiju, regulaciju rasta stanica i prevenciju kalcifikacije arterija \u2013 \u010dimbenik koji doprinosi sr\u010danim bolestima\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Odre\u0111ena hrana mo\u017ee vam pomo\u0107i da nadomjestite nedostatak ovog vitamina. Lisnato zeleno povr\u0107e, brokula, bu\u010da i sok od nara su bogati vitaminom K1, a tamno meso u piletini, gove\u0111a jetra, maslac, sir, \u017eumanjci i svinjetina su bogati vitaminom K2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u017denama u dobi od 19 i vi\u0161e godina potrebno je 90 mikrograma vitamina K dnevno, a mu\u0161karcima od 19 i vi\u0161e godina potrebno je 120 mikrograma dnevno. Prema Nacionalnom institutu za zdravlje (NIH) ve\u0107ina ljudi svakodnevno unosi dovoljno vitamina K, no nekoliko je znakova koji ukazuju na to da vam nedostaje ovog vitamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pretjerano krvarenje<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ako se rane ne zgru\u0161aju brzo, mo\u017ee do\u0107i do prekomjernog gubitka krvi. Vitamin K doprinosi zgru\u0161avanju krvi pa ako vam rane ne prestaju krvariti, to mo\u017ee zna\u010diti da vam nedostaje ovog vitamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cZnakovi upozorenja mogu uklju\u010divati obilne menstruacije, krvarenje iz nosa, krv u mokra\u0107i ili stolici i krvarenje desni\u201d, ka\u017ee Julson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oslabljene kosti<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vitamin K igra ulogu i u zdravlju kostiju, a neka istra\u017eivanja povezuju uzimanje ve\u0107e koli\u010dine vitamina K s ve\u0107om mineralnom gusto\u0107om kostiju i manjim rizikom od ni\u017eeg prijeloma kuka, navodi NIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sr\u010dani problemi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKad su razine vitamina K niske, kalcij se mo\u017ee talo\u017eiti u mekim tkivima poput arterija, umjesto u kostima\u201d, ka\u017ee Julson i dodaje da je vaskularna kalcifikacija faktor rizika za koronarnu bolest srca. Osobe s kroni\u010dnom bole\u0161\u0107u bubrega imaju zna\u010dajno ve\u0107i rizik od vaskularne kalcifikacije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Javljaju se simptomi artritisa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kada razina vitamina K padne prenisko, kost i hrskavica mo\u017eda ne\u0107e dobiti sve minerale koji su im potrebni. To mo\u017ee dovesti do ve\u0107eg rizika od osteoartritisa, pokazuje preliminarno istra\u017eivanje objavljeno u \u010dasopisu Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uzroci nedostatka vitamina K<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uzimanje nekih lijekova te neki medicinski poreme\u0107aji mogu sprije\u010diti tijelo da apsorbira dovoljno vitamina K. Ljudi koji imaju odre\u0111ene gastrointestinalne poreme\u0107aje ili sindrome malapsorpcije mogu imati problema s pravilnom apsorpcijom vitamina K. Ta stanja uklju\u010duju cisti\u010dnu fibrozu, ulcerozni kolitis, kroni\u010dni pankreatitis, upalne bolesti crijeva i za\u010depljenje crijevnog kanala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neki antibiotici tako\u0111er mogu utjecati na apsorpciju vitamina K, pi\u0161e The Healthy. Cefalosporinski antibiotici mogu uni\u0161titi bakterije u crijevima koje proizvode vitamin K.
