Pokojni SDP-ov dubrova\u010dko-neretvanski \u017eupan Ivan \u0160prlje 1997. prvi put javno spominje izgradnju Pelje\u0161kog mosta, no HDZ-ov Luka Bebi\u0107 tvrdi da je ideja bila njihova.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Izgradnja mosta Pelje\u0161ac kopno za nas u Dubrova\u010dko -neretvanskoj \u017eupanije nikad nije imala cijene. Ne samo da \u0107emo spojiti \u017eupaniju Dubrova\u010dko neretvansku u jednu cijelinu ve\u0107 \u0107emo povezati i Republiku Hrvatsku, rekao je\u00a0<strong>Ivan \u0160prlje<\/strong>, biv\u0161i dubrova\u010dko-neretvanski \u017eupan (SDP), 21. 4. 2006.<br><br>&#8211; Ideja je bila \u017eupanijskog odbora HDZ-a dubrova\u010dko-neretvanske \u017eupanije i Kluba zastupnika HDZ u Saboru i to je prva istina ostalo su se kasnije nadovezali \u0161to im mi zahvaljujemo, rekao je\u00a0<strong>Luka Bebi\u0107<\/strong>, biv\u0161i predsjednik Sabora (HDZ).<br><br>Papirnati trag pak pokazuje da je most 2000. u\u0161ao u prostorni plan Dubrova\u010dko-neretvanske \u017eupanije. No tek u studenom 2005. po\u010dinje politi\u010dki igrokaz o gradnji Pelje\u0161kog mosta. Iako bez natje\u010daja, tada\u0161nji premijer Ivo Sanader sve\u010dano obilje\u017eava po\u010detak pripremnih radova. Obe\u0107ao je da \u0107e se most po\u010deti graditi 2006., a radovi trajati samo 18 mjeseci.<br><br>&#8211; Ovo je jedan veliki korak prema izvla\u010denju hrvatskoga juga iz prometne izolacije ali jedan veliki korak u povezivanju Hrvatske, rekao je<strong>\u00a0Ivo Sanader<\/strong>, biv\u0161i predsjednik Vlade (HDZ), 10. 11. 2005.\/<br><br>Velikog pomaka u gradnji nije bilo, no javne polemike o cijeni i prioritetima jest.<br><br>&#8211; Ra\u010duni su da \u0107e to bit negdje oko 250 milijuna eura ali dok jo\u0161 nemamo kona\u010dne sve podatke vezane recimo za visinu stupova i tako dalje ne mo\u017eemo to re\u0107i, istaknuo je Jure Radi\u0107, biv\u0161i ministar i projektant Pelje\u0161kog mosta (HDZ), 21. 4. 2006.<br><br>Sigurno da jednom taj most u nekom rangu prioriteta \u0107e do\u0107i u proritet kad \u0107e to biti vidjet \u0107emo 10 ili 15 godina ali bit \u0107e, istaknuo je\u00a0<strong>Radimir \u010ca\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, biv\u0161i ministar javnih radova, obnove i graditeljstva (HNS), 21. 4. 2006.\/<br><br>Ivo Sanader na gradili\u0161te se vra\u0107a 2007.<br><br>A ja progla\u0161avam po\u010detak radova na ovom velebnom Pelje\u0161kom mostu povijesnom projektu za Hrvatsku otvorenim, rekao je Ivo Sanader, biv\u0161i predsjednik Vlade (HDZ), 24. 10. 2007.<br><br>Ovaj put proveden je i natje\u010daj. Posao je dobio konzorcij hrvatskih gra\u0111evinskih tvrtki.<br><br>Mi \u0107emo ovaj most gradit za ljude hrvatskog juga, za Dubrovnik, za dubrova\u010dko primorje, za Pelje\u0161ac, dodao je tada Sanader.<br><br>Sredinom 2009. odlazi Ivo Sander, a radovi slu\u017ebeno staju. 2010. premijerka\u00a0<strong>Jadranka Kosor\u00a0<\/strong>projekt je formalno revidirala i najavila da most ide dalje.<br><br>&#8211; Mi smo kona\u010dno zatvorili financijsku konstrukciju i vjerujem sigurna sam da \u0107e u rujnu radovi biti nastavljeni, navela je Jadranka Kosor, biv\u0161a predsjednica Vlade (HDZ), 19. 8. 2011.<br><br>Jadranka Kosor gubi izbore, a u Banske dvore dolazi Zoran Milanovi\u0107. Njegovo je stajali\u0161te da je most preskup i nepotreban. U igri je bila i trasa autoceste kroz BiH.<br><br>&#8211; Most se na\u017ealost ne gradi. On na\u017ealost godinama stoji tako se ozbiljna dr\u017eava ne pona\u0161a autocesta preko teritorija Bosne i Hercegovine uz suglasnost susjedne dr\u017eave koja \u0107e sutra biti \u010dlanica Europske unije slu\u017ei kao spona jednog dijela Hrvatske sa drugim dijelom Hrvatske, rekao je\u00a0<strong>Zoran Milanovi\u0107<\/strong>, biv\u0161i predsjednik Vlade (SDP), 18. 1. 2012.<br><br>Raskida se ugovor o gradnji Pelje\u0161kog mosta. \u010cini se da most vi\u0161e nije opcija, zbog \u010dega se u rujnu 2012. organizira i prosvjed. Gra\u0111ani su uz pomo\u0107 500 brodica stvorili pontonski most izme\u0111u Brijeste i Komarne i poslali premijeru jasnu poruku. Ulaskom u Europsku uniju, Hrvatskoj se otvara mogu\u0107nost sufinanciranja gradnje mosta iz europskih fondova. Radi se studija isplativosti.<br><br>&#8211; Govori da je od svih rje\u0161enja najbolje rje\u0161enje gradnja redefiniranog Pelje\u0161kog mosta, navodi<strong>\u00a0Sini\u0161a Hajda\u0161 Don\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, biv\u0161i ministar pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture, 20. 1. 2014.<br><br>&#8211; Nije jo\u0161 ni izdaleka sigurno da \u0107emo te novce dobit ali sad ih mo\u017eemo dobit ako je studija dobra kvalitetna i na racionalan na\u010din obrazlo\u017eena, rekla je Vesna Pusi\u0107, biv\u0161a ministrica vanjskih poslova(HNS), 20. 1. 2014.<br><br>Most ponovno postaje predizborno obe\u0107anje. Hrvatska na raspolaganju ima 330 milijuna eura iz europskih fondova.<br><br>&#8211; Danas mo\u017eemo jo\u0161 jednom nagla\u0161avam s punom odgovorno\u0161\u0107u re\u0107i da smo ovaj postupak doveli do samog po\u010detka njegova izvo\u0111enja sve kasnije \u0107e biti lak\u0161e, naveo je Zoran Milanovi\u0107, biv\u0161i predsjednik Vlade (SDP), 15. 7. 2015.<br><br>No \u010dini se da novi premijer\u00a0<strong>Tim Ore\u0161kovi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0koji dolazi iz poslovne zajednice ne mo\u017ee ubrzati posao.<br><br>&#8211; Ho\u0107e li krenuti gradnja i ho\u0107e li se realizirati autocesta, brza cesta i Pelje\u0161ki most?\u00a0Pa, Pelje\u0161ki most, mislim da ste danas \u010dak u novinama ste vidjeli, nama je cilj mislim tu negdje u tre\u0107em kvartalu, mo\u017eda \u010detvrtom kvartalu najkasnije da \u0107e prokrenuti taj projekt, odgovorio je Tihomir Ore\u0161kovi\u0107, biv\u0161i predsjednik Vlade, 4. 4. 2016.<br><br>Prijevremeni izbori dovode novog predsjednika Vlade.<br><br>&#8211; Nadamo se da \u0107e se realizirati projekt Pelje\u0161koga mosta da \u0107emo na taj na\u010din naravno uz svu ambiciju da Hrvatska u\u0111e u \u0161engenski prostor da i Bosna i Hercegovina ide \u0161to prije prema Europskoj uniji ipak u godinama koje su pred nama s ovakvim rje\u0161enjem cestovne povezanosti bitno olak\u0161ati i ubrzati protok ljudi i robe prema Dubrovniku, rekao je\u00a0<strong>Andrej Plenkovi\u0107<\/strong>, predsjednik Vlade(HDZ), 16. 2. 2017.<br><br>Resorni ministar\u00a0<strong>Oleg Butkovi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0najavljuje po\u010detak izgradnje Pelje\u0161kog mosta u drugoj polovini 2017. godine.<br><br>&#8211; Mi evo o\u010dekujemo u jesen po\u010detak gradnje Pelje\u0161koga mosta. (blic) Cijeli projekt bi trebao biti gotov u 3 faze do 2021., a sam most, ukoliko po\u010dne izgradnja 2017., izgradnja \u0107e trajati 3 godine, rekao je Oleg Butkovi\u0107, ministar mora, prometa i infrastrukture(HDZ), 16. 2. 2017.<br><br>\u017dalbeni postupci produ\u017euju natje\u010dani postupak.<br><br>&#8211; Imamo opstrukciju od strane potencijalnih izvo\u0111a\u010da, ja \u0107u biti direktan, koji si produ\u017euju vrijeme s ovakvim stvarima da tvrtka koja ima dva zaposlena i promet od 100 tisu\u0107a kuna se \u017eali na dokumentaciju za Pelje\u0161ki most, naveo je\u00a0<strong>Tomislav Tolu\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>, biv\u0161i ministar regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije (HDZ), 20. 10. 2016.<br><br>A na most se cijelo vrijeme \u017eale i du\u017enosnici iz Sarajeva. Donosi se i deklaracija kojom se Hrvatska poziva da obustavi gradnju Pelje\u0161kog mosta.<br><br>&#8211; Ova deklaracija nema utemeljenje niti neko zakonsko niti ima poslovni\u010dko utemeljenje, istaknula je\u00a0<strong>Borjana Kri\u0161to<\/strong>, predsjedateljica Predstavni\u010dkog doma Parlamentarne skup\u0161tine BiH (HDZ BiH), 13. 9. 2017.<br><br>Na natje\u010daju za gradnju odabrana je ponuda kineske tvrtke \u00bbChina Road and Bridge Corporation\u00ab vrijedna dvije milijarde i 80 milijuna kuna. Ugovor je potpisan u travnju 2018. u Dubrovniku. Godinu poslije, i kineski premijer posjetio je gradili\u0161te Pelje\u0161kog mosta u sklopu europskog samita.
